Prohibited Items Policy
1. Purpose
This Prohibited Items Policy establishes a list of goods and materials that cannot be shipped through the 16847323 CANADA LIMITED operating as Eyemesto Shipping ("Eyemesto Shipping") platform. This policy exists to protect users, carriers, and the public, and to ensure compliance with Canadian and international laws and regulations.
2. Absolutely Prohibited Items
The following items are absolutely prohibited under all circumstances:
- Explosives, detonators, and fireworks.
- Firearms, handguns, rifles, prohibited weapons, and their components.
- Illegal narcotics and controlled substances as defined under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (Canada).
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any child exploitation material.
- Radioactive materials (non-certified).
- Human remains (without proper licensing and documentation).
- Counterfeit currency, forged documents, or fraudulent instruments.
- Items subject to trade sanctions or export control restrictions.
3. Conditionally Restricted Items
The following items may be shipped only with proper documentation, carrier approval, and full regulatory compliance:
- Lithium batteries (must comply with IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations).
- Dry ice (requires carrier-specific documentation).
- Alcohol and tobacco (subject to provincial licensing requirements).
- Prescription medications (require documentation and receiver authorization).
- Perishable goods (only via approved temperature-controlled services).
- High-value items such as jewelry, art, or collectibles (require declared value and insurance).
- Live animals (only via approved specialized carriers with required documentation).
- Cannabis and cannabis products (legal in Canada; requires licensed shipper status and carrier approval).
4. Carrier-Specific Restrictions
Each carrier connected to the Eyemesto Shipping platform may have additional prohibited or restricted items beyond this list. Users are responsible for reviewing the applicable carrier's terms and conditions before shipping. Eyemesto Shipping assumes no responsibility for shipments refused or confiscated due to carrier restrictions.
5. Customs & Import Restrictions
International shipments may be subject to import restrictions in the destination country. Users are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with customs laws, import duties, and regulations in both the origin and destination countries.
6. Consequence of Violation
Shipment of prohibited items may result in seizure and destruction of goods by authorities, fines or penalties charged to the User's account, immediate account suspension or termination, and/or referral to law enforcement authorities. Eyemesto Shipping reserves the right to refuse any shipment at its sole discretion.
